This section proposes examples of multimedia tools developed for Syngenta. They are taken from the CD-ROM we realised about their new selection marker of plant transgenesis: the Positech.

These examples present the three main methods used to transfer a gene of interest to plants:

• The electro-chemical method.
• Bombardment with particles coated with DNA.
• Use of the natural ability of a bacteria: Agrobacterium.
